2. (intr. v.) to eat quickly and greedily
3. (intr. v.) to utter a guttural, chortling sound like a male turkey
USAGE EXAMPLE 1 :
The hungry urchins gobbled up the food they were given and then asked for more.
USAGE EXAMPLE 2 :
They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannise their teachers.
